I wrote several textbooks on C programming (Russian series "C for PC", published by Dialog, Moscow) and taught programming classes based on that material.

I supervised several postdocs in computational biology, most of them now hold good positions in the biotech/pharma industry.

I co-authored a chapter for the monumental "Encyclopedia of Genetics, Genomics, Proteomics and Bioinformatics", published by John Wiley & Sons, available online.

Recently, I have contributed a chapter to a textbook "Bioinformatics for Biologists", edited by P. Pevzner and R. Shamir and published by Cambridge University Press.

Currently, I teach graduate students in the new PhD program I started in 2010 at Rutgers-Camden, which had no doctoral program in sciences before. I teach a course Genome Informatics. I also teach Current Topics in Biology for undergraduate students.
